Crazy Rhino, Walrus And Octopus Chairs Posted: 24 Aug 2011 09:37 AM PDT There are many animal-inspired pieces today like a giraffe-shaped sideboard or a bear-shaped bag chair. Designer Maximo Riera was inspired by several animals and started his collection of chairs. Rhino and Walrus Chairs are ones of the strangest chairs I've ever seen. There is also an Octopus Chair of which we have already told you. They really remind of these animals but are very comfortable and soft. They are all done in black color; such chairs are really odd but they would fit a surrealistic interior. Lion, Beetle and Whale Chairs are coming soon in the collection. Each piece is limited to 20 copies. Isn't it crazy to seat on an octopus or on the back of a walrus? Similar Posts: Continue reading about Crazy Rhino, Walrus And Octopus Chairs... |
Vertical Plan House With Greenery In Singapore Posted: 24 Aug 2011 07:00 AM PDT This house by Formwerkz Architects is located in the center of Singapore in a very busy district so the owner's desire was to see a garden near his house. That's why the architects had to decide a rather difficult task: there was a slender of the ground to accommodate a house and a garden. So the house has several levels with garden right on them. There is also a vertical plant wall that is usually neglected as canvasses for decoration. There are outdoor entertaining areas at every level and that is very useful for a family with kids. Interiors have a modern, open plan with a central staircase zigzagging its way to the top. The architects and designers showed us that it's possible to enjoy greenery even in the centre of a busy district.
