| Kitchen Designed In Modern Victorian Style Posted: 12 Apr 2011 12:17 PM PDT This kitchen is done in modern Victorian style; unfortunately, we don't know who the author is. The set looks really like an old one but with a lot of modern details. Light blue, green and white combine very well. Every effort was made to repeat the style. Simple wooden tops add some modern touches. I like the kitchen island with a space for wine bottles very much. One more special thing about this kitchen is the jars of glass and porcelain for rice, sugar, oils and many other products. The kitchen has a rustic touch, it combines very well with simple wooden chairs and table and looks very cozy, modern and sweet. | Extremely Original Bookshelf Inspired By An Ivy Posted: 12 Apr 2011 09:17 AM PDT Artist and designer Sebastian Errazuriz was inspired by nature, by an ivy. This shelf is called Metamorphosis shelf. The design is very interesting, it reminds of a thick ivy but now it's a storing solution. The shelf is made of Baltic birch plywood painted in black. Such a piece of furniture will match a modern or even Gothic interior. It won’t be simple to choose the furniture that will combine with it but you won’t regret. To my mind, the shelf looks rather philosophical and a little bit ominous but it's very unusual and will definitely attract everybody's attention. You can also use it at an office. | Extra Large Modern Apartment For A Young Family Posted: 12 Apr 2011 05:33 AM PDT This beautiful apartment of 500 square meters is located in Vladivostok, Russia. The owners are a young family. Designer Alena Ermilova was asked to create a living space that wouldn't disturb or spoil the atmosphere. The apartment is divided into 2 parts: the left wing is for the family and the right one is for work and taking guests. The interior is modern and very functional. Despite of the wide space and contemporary style, the apartment is very cozy. Natural wood, brilliant tops, a big fireplace and wall panels add something unusual but don't spoil the idea and the lines.
