Located in Richfield, Wisconsin. Fieldstone House by Bruns Architecture is an example of modern living sinuously integrated within a rural landscape. The project gets its name from he fieldstone wall which organizes circulation beginning south of the entry, continuing through the interior spaces and extending back out to the north. Two volumes make up the project: a taller one housing the living zones and a smaller, flat-roofed structure on the field side where the auxiliary spaces are situated.
Paying tribute to minimalism, the interior design scheme redirects attention towards the surrounding landscape. Extensive use of glass throughout allows natural light inside, while enhancing textures. A board-formed concrete chimney acts as the focal point of the open plan living room, engaging both levels. According to the architects, the house has low-e, argon filled triple pane glazing throughout and radiant heat is utilized within polished concrete floor slabs on both levels. Enjoy the virtual tour! One of the top-paid producers and DJ’s, Tim Berling, better known as Avicii, has purchased for this astounding $15.5 million property in Hollywood Hills (Los Angeles) from the beauty mogul Bruno Mascolo.

The 7,000 square ft. luxury estate designed by McClean Design and gorgeously decorated by Brown Design Inc boasts 6 bedroom, 7 bathrooms, a very stylish kitchen, several social areas and a breathtaking panoramic view of the city’s skyline. A cantilevered swimming pool divides the house in two. The water feature runs the length of the house, giving you the illusion that it blends with the sky. The rear of the house is sided in glass, opening to the views.

Diverse Apartment in Varna Reflecting the Bulgarian Spirit

The owner of this diverse apartment designed by M2 Design Studio has been living and having careers in a few places around the world, but one day wanted to come back to his country to settle down. So he bought an apartment near the sea in one of the nicest cities in Bulgaria, Varna. The home is located in an old fully reconstructed building which is a protected architectural monument. The brief required a design scheme embedding the Bulgarian spirit that would amaze guests. Green and deep red were two must-have colors for the new project, according to the owner’s tastes.
Here is more from the architects: “Our main focus was to have handmade furniture, lamps, decorative objects, beams and natural materials that would create a cozy and warm feeling in the apartment. We designed many objects specifically for this project: the wall panels with circle motifs, the night lamps and the coffee table. The Lace wall panels and mirror were inspired from an old flower lace I found made many years ago from my grandmother“. The wood-carving details for the kitchen island and TV cabinet were done by a commissioned carving artist. Find them as ingenious as we do?
