| Bright Chairs Of Polypropylene For Home And Office Posted: 05 Apr 2011 03:46 PM PDT What should modern furniture be like? Simple, bright, with contemporary design and easy to take care of. Pupl is a chair made of cellulose and polypropylene. Designer Christoph Pillet created this absolutely modern piece of furniture for an Italian studio called Kristalia. The chair looks like a volume that is flowing from one surface to another; the forms resemble those of a human body. The goal was to build a chair that would serve for a long time and easy to clean so you could use it not only at home but also in some public places. You can take these chairs to your modern dining room or to your conference hall at the office and they would look organic. I think the designer managed to achieve all the goals, didn't he? | A Running Table With Steampunk Inspired Design Posted: 05 Apr 2011 12:44 PM PDT Furniture becomes alive! Laufender Tisch by Wouter Scheublins is original not only by design but it's also interesting because of its mechanism. In German it means 'running table'. If you knock at the table, it starts working. The table will move its legs and make his way through your room. The design is available in natural wood with a mechanism of stainless steel. Are you ready to decorate your dining room with such a table? Moving furniture is cool, that means you won't have to move any heavy things yourself. I hope such furniture will become a trend and we'll see many moving things. Similar Posts: Continue reading about A Running Table With Steampunk Inspired Design... |
| Posted: 05 Apr 2011 09:36 AM PDT StyleFactory is an interesting website where design objects can be voted by people like us. If some product receives a lot of votes the company manufactures it. Octopus Table by Jesse Shaw is one of those designs that people currently voting for. It’s inspired by the organic movement of its sea-faring name-sake. Because Octopi have no vertebrae, their limbs are extremely agile. The invertebrate-inspired table base can be inverted allowing for your choice of two distinct looks; tentacles facing upward or downward. Scientists believe that an Octopus has 6 arms and 2 legs. This low table also has 6 arms in a stoic pause. The table can easily come a conversation piece that anyone will notice, like an Octopus chair or an Octopus chandelier. p.s. There is also one more cool thing that people are currently voting for on StyleFactory. This modern wooden magazine wall rack is a really great solution to display your favorite books and magazines. | A Tropic Villa With Local Color Posted: 05 Apr 2011 05:44 AM PDT Villas in the tropic countries are created for the rest and relaxation. Hot climate, lots of sun and sea make such villas an island of paradise. This villa is called Casas del Sol. I love the style of the house, it looks gorgeous like a VIP resort. The colors are neutral, the furniture is modern and very comfortable, it looks like it invites you to sit down and relax. The characteristic feature of this villa is a unique combination of modern interior with the local exotic. The fantastic coffee table made of a piece of local wood gives personality to the place. The chairs and table are also made of the local solid wood. Jalousie everywhere hides the owners from the redundant sun. I think the villa is really fantastic for spending your vacation at the sea.
