| A Chair Of Reclaimed Seatbelts Posted: 23 Mar 2011 01:16 PM PDT This is a school project of a student at the University of Cincinnati, Adam Barron. It's called Reclaimed Seatbelt Chair. The chair is made of a steel rod frame and seatbelts he collected from a local junkyard. This is one of the best designs I've ever seen made of reclaimed auto parts. I love things that are giving new life to the old parts. His design incorporates three of five Japanese design principles: humor, craftsmanship, compactness, asymmetry and simplicity. The chair is handmade in New York and, because of its nature, each chair is one-of-a-kind. Would you like to have one?

| The Simpliest Yet Stylish Lamp Ever Posted: 23 Mar 2011 10:16 AM PDT Giorgio Bonaguro is an industrial and interior designer in Milan. He acts in a number of different fields including furniture, industrial, interior, packaging and light design. This is his creation – the lamp called Tweety. I can't imagine a simpler lamp! The design is made of sheet steel bent into a loop with two straight legs for support, a usual bulb fits well in the neck of the stand. Bonaguro says that the design is simple and intuitive, made of two main parts: the light and the body. The bulb is hanging from its body. | Airy Loft With The Views Of Paris Posted: 23 Mar 2011 05:15 AM PDT This place was once a servant quarters but now it's transformed into an airy loft. This loft is located in Paris. The designers decided to make it in the form of the letter U so the knocked down several walls. The storage is clever hidden so the loft is not cluttered. The white walls throughout the apartment reflect the light and the loft looks bigger than it is. I like the modern living room with vintage chairs and table. The turquoise bedroom looks unusual and relaxing. Many designers worked for this place and created furniture so the loft is nice mixture of styles. A little bit pop art and vintage, some details from the mysterious East, rustic floors of wood – all that mixes with modern solutions. The place is full of light and air, fantastic views of Paris through the window make this loft a nice place to relax and raise your spirits.
