It’s an exploration of unique materials for a desk design. It’s top is made from MDF painted in a satin finish polyurethane. The base in the same time is colored acrylic. The desk has two open compartments: for a PC and for a printer. Besides, it offers two drawers for other storage needs. A large pend drawer and a file drawer are integrated into the top part of the desk. The desk is available in custom colors and combinations to stand in any home or office. Modern Wooden House On Lake Okoboji Posted: 19 Oct 2010 06:28 AM PDT This house is designed by MinDay and located in rural Iowa, Lake Okoboji. The whole design is focused on the lake and consists of series of spatial frames that provides as private as public areas. The lake itself is ringed by numerous oak trees which form beautiful a canopy around the lake, separating it from the expanse of farmland beyond. The house’s frames also provides owners with additional privacy when they are at home. Living areas are open to the lake and woods views, but visually closed to neighbors on the sides. The exterior of the house is done in sustainably-harvested Ipe cladding, concrete, and aluminum panels. The interior continues the theme of naturalism and also features a lot of wooden details and neutral colors.
