Minimalist Outdoor Table and Chairs With Aluminum Bases – Mirthe by Tribù Posted: 24 May 2010 01:47 PM PDT Mirthe is the latest furniture set designed by great outdoor furniture manufacturer, Tribù. It consists of table and bench designed by Fabiaan Van Severen, and chair designed by Wim Segers. The company describes their designs as: “Minimalism with a playful twist”. Bases of all furniture is done in recycable 6 mm thick aluminium, powdercoated for best-possible resistance to corrosion. They come in white and aluminium colors with colorful cushions that adds a touch of fun to these minimalist frames. Even though that is an outdoor furniture set it also could be used indoors because its design is very elegant and comfortable. It also features a light switch made to look like a teabag tag. The lamp has a E14 metal socket for 25 Watt bulb and made of a 10 x 12 cm china cup. Contemporary House Design With Cozy Interior on Sloping Site Posted: 24 May 2010 06:36 AM PDT Bernal Height Residence By SB Architects is an amazing contemporary house built on a 2,100 square feet sloping site. The site gave designers an idea to build a focal stair core wrapped by private areas. The main living spaces are located on the top floor so they feature dramatic views of the San Francisco skyline and gather a lot of natural light. The corner location and internal spacial organization created an exterior expression that broke free of horizontal restraints to create a blend of strong horizontal and vertical lines punctuated by a cantilevered roof. The interior of the house and especially of private areas looks very cozy.
