architecture modern project1 Café like Atmosphere Exuded by Original Apartment in Taiwan Ganna Design Studio completed Overlap, an original apartment especially envisioned for a young couple in Taoyuan, Taiwan. Both of the owners are massive collectors: while the man of the house likes to gather miniatures and toys, the lady collects objects from her traveling adventures. Instead of living in a home with a powerful modern design style, the owners opted for a cafe-like atmosphere, where to enjoy drinks casually and browse the Internet from the comfort of their own crib.

The industrial style is very popular in Taiwan nowadays, which is why the project developers opted for exposed black pipes on the ceiling. Moreover, the owners are fond of the Japanese spirit and features, which led to a fresh and comfortable approach and an onerall feeling of space. No matter how you look at it, the display cabinet acts as the focal point of the apartment. It is here that the toys, miniatures and souvenirs are  proudly showcased. Located in the 11th district of Budapest, Hungary, in Madárhegy near Budaörs, this minimalist penthouse envisioned by Adamdesign Belsőépítész Studio meets the modern living needs of its owners. The location offers proximity and easy access to the center of Budapest, as well as breathtaking views of the Buda mountains. Part of a brand new building consisting of 4 units, the 150 square meter penthouse is accessible via a private elevator. The crib has a smart and practical layout that separates the living area and the bedrooms on the two sides of the unit.

Both the master bedroom and living room are accompanied by a 31 square meter grand terrace, with full panoramic views. The guest or kids bedroom also offers a green terrace. For today we would like to present the new Luxo line of CORIAN and marble staircases which stand out due to the integration of ambiance lighting: “Unusual and precious materials, the architectural mastery and the wish to surprise with backlighted insertions are the main features of the new LUXO line. This hanging stair has been created to amaze and leave people breathless.” The hanging stairs give away the feeling of hovering over the floor, despite the fact that they are secured tightly to the walls.

Interior design company injy ID sent us details about a flexible holiday apartment recently completed in Brazil. This modern crib is used only on weekends and vacations (the owners live on another State). It has the peculiarity to belong to two different families with children that will use it alternatively or simultaneously. The home-theater room is the social core of the apartment and integrates a gourmet kitchen and dinner area. The TV, fixed on a perpendicular board can be well seen from every angle of this huge living. All the electronic devices were hidden inside the low sideboard.

The materials were aligned with the latest contemporary trends, while maintaining a timeless look. In the future, the owners will be able to change the key objects that are now decorated in dark purple. The " Oro" mosaic tiles located above and below the light wooden board balance the elegant multidimensional artwork on the perpendicular wall. The tiny toilette measuring only two square meters received sideboard and sink combo sculpted in natural stone. A large mirror covers the wall above the sideboard, while on the other wall a texturized wallpaper brings the same sophisticated shade of gray as the natural stone.
