Charming Gothenburg Apartment With Sophisticated Design Details Posted: 13 Aug 2011 01:39 AM PDT This Gothenburg apartment in the LinnĂ©staden area seems so bright and cheery, that each glimpse of vivid colour fills the space with joy. The 50 square metres are divided into a bedroom, a bathroom, a hallway, a kitchen and a bright living room. High ceilings and sunshine meet to shape the illusion of a large, bright space. Located on the third floor of a 5-storey building, the recently renovated apartment features 1920s oak parquet flooring and stucco walls. Just outside the apartment, a big common balcony overlooking the park offers refreshing views from the third floor. The hallway feels welcoming and features multiple storage spaces: hooks for coats, a large and modern white handle-free closet or a preserved typical wardrobe hidden behind a door. The bedroom is large enough to accommodate a double bed and a wardrobe and small enough to be cosy. A fully equipped kitchen featuring multiple work surfaces and storage options welcomes guests at the table for a home cooked meal. Awesome Limited Edition Urban Thrones From Click for Art Posted: 12 Aug 2011 08:59 AM PDT We found these awesome armchairs at Click for Art, where they have a wide range of pieces from many designers. The three throne designs can be shipped worldwide, so anyone can enjoy them. Made in limited edition, the Whimsical World Throne by designer Caramelaw, the Slipstream Throne by Dan Baldwin and the Maria Throne by Sylvia Ji all have something special. Each chair depicts a different design and style. “We only produce 33 of each design – Each sequentially numbered with a Certificate of Authenticity that is printed on the bottom of the chair” and signed by the artist, so hurry up and get one if you just love them. I would if I had that much money to spend on thrones: £1595. Printed on faux suede, the designs ensure a fascinating focal point in any room. The thrones can also be printed on genuine leather. Hand carved mahogany frames are available in white or black gloss lacquer finishes. The upholstery is also hand crafted using traditional methods. They have a pretty appealing offer in customisation of the armchair. Ready for more amazing design ideas? Check below !
