Minimalist Functional Secretaire That Fits Any Room Posted: 27 Aug 2011 03:46 PM PDT A secretaire first appeared in France in the 12th century. In modern minimalist style of furniture such pieces usually are not used. But here's a variant that is perfect for a modern space. I know a piece of furniture that comprises all these characteristics very well. Secretaire S01 is a unique piece by Bastian Diephaus and Ismail Özalbayrak. It very comfortably placed on the wall and you can put inside anything you like – books, keys, documents or other stuff. S01 can be used anywhere – beginning from the hall and to your living room or study. The cool thing about it is that you may open the top and make it horizontal to write on it if needed. So this antique type of furniture got a new life and fit very well our modern life. Similar Posts: Continue reading about Minimalist Functional Secretaire That Fits Any Room... |

Dispatched for victuals for the captain's table or canvas for a sail blown away in a storm, gigs were invaluable when in port or moored outside. These pieces are made of natural dark wood with dark or light finish. The shape is unique and can decorate any traditional or modern study or even office. The dimensions are 12″ L x 73″ W x 27″ H. Man of Eight is inspired by racing eights – races of fraternities in Oxford, Cambridge and other old universities. These pieces are so unusual and creative! Spacious Double Loft With Natural Interior And Lots Of Light Posted: 27 Aug 2011 06:46 AM PDT This beautiful spacious double loft was created by 3SIXØ ARCHITECTURE in the USA. The interior is amazingly modern and beautifully minimalist. Grey, white and natural wood of sand color – a magnificent combination for any modern space! Open plan already gives a feeling of freedom but to maximize the area the designers used lots of windows and light throughout the loft. There no unnecessary details and the storage spaces are hidden so well that nothing distracts attention from the space and light. To my mind, the ceilings are a little bit not to the point but even they look great! Similar Posts: Continue reading about Spacious Double Loft With Natural Interior And Lots Of Light... |
