Contemporary Coffee Table Of Rustic Wood

Posted: 09 Apr 2011 02:41 PM PDT

This unique coffee table is made of maple and glass, nothing unnecessary. The author is John Houshmand. The top is made of rough wood and this asymmetry gives special charm to the table. The leg is made of glass and that gives an elegant touch. Each table will be unrepeatable and unique as there are no identical trees, each piece of it is different. The table is available only in natural finish, in one size. It will perfectly match a rustic or a modern interior with lots of wood. When I look at it, it gives me a feeling of calmness and relaxation. A perfect combination of elegance and nature, isn't it?

Everybody who likes originality, informality and jeans, pay attention! One more jeans sofa? Kind of that. This sofa is called Low Back Settee and was created by designer Liam Mooney. Here you can stretch upon, relax and forget about everything. The Low Back Settee is made of poplar, epoxy coated steel and woven blue fabric that looks like jeans. The sofa is available in blue or black. The Settee looks simple but very comfortable, it will look nice in your modern style living room or maybe in a library or a study. Here you can stretch upon, relax and forget about everything. Sometimes you may nap for an hour or two and go back to your work.

Contemporary House-Sculpture In Spain

Posted: 09 Apr 2011 06:38 AM PDT

This house is one of the best examples of A-cero works inspired by sculptures of Jorge Oteiza. Open Box House is located in the outskirts of Madrid. The forms of the house are unique; the façade is made of granulated concrete. The area of 2600 square meters includes the garage and facilities, four bedrooms, a library, a living room, a kitchen and servant's quarter. The furniture is also created by A-cero. I love a small lake in stone with concrete in it. At night when it’s illuminated it’s like one more modern sculpture. The house dominates over the landscapes and its forms are striking. It may be like living in a big modern sculpture. An incredible living space!
