Mushroom Inspired Lamps

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 12:51 PM PDT

This lamp is called Placa. It was created by a Portuguese designer Gonzalo Campos. The conception is simple and genial: lamps are like mushrooms growing out of the base. You can use just one, two or all three lamps. In case you don't need so much light you can take one and use the rest of the base as a shelf. Placa is a fine example of the modern accessories for a stylish interior. Lamps are available in black and the base is made of natural wood. Grow these mushrooms in your room!

Cuttlefish Chair With Numerous Legs

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 09:51 AM PDT

As I have told you already, more and more strange things and animals inspire designers. This time it's a cuttlefish. This chair is called Sepii, that means 'cuttlefish', and was created by a young Danish designer Christian Norhave. This chair reminds of a cuttlefish because of its numerous legs. You may think that it's very stable but it's an illusion! Actually, Sepii is a rocking chair. If you look attentively at the photo, you'll see that only three legs stand on the floor. The chair is produced of natural oak and is available in natural color. Ready to start marine theme in the interior and buy a cuttlefish chair?

Minimalist House With Nature Inside It

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 06:46 AM PDT

Casa Tres Rios by Taalmankoch Architecture was built, first of all, to enjoy nature. The house is located on the area of 7 acres, its surface is not big. The clients wanted to maximize the contact with nature, almost to live in it. That's why the architects decided to make all the walls of glass. To keep privacy they built a closed yard and also put the house in the area so that it is hidden by the trees from all its sides. The interior is modern and cozy; there are no unnecessary details as all the attention is paid to nature that is almost inside the house. Everything is simple and brilliant. I think it's one of the best places to forget about busy city life, relax and feel the integrity with nature.
