Funny Furniture In Vivid Colors To Raise Your Spirits Posted: 21 Feb 2011 12:55 PM PST Designers Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay have just created a fantastic collection for Raw Edges Design, an experimental studio blurring the lines between art and industrial design. It's called the Coiling Collection and it was presented at the Fat Gallerie in Paris. The collection consists of chairs, puffs, tables and rugs. They are made of long strips of wool felt, rolled into shape and combined with wood, and then coated in resin to create solid structures. It's a very interesting method. The vivid colors will definitely raise your spirits. It's a wonderful idea for a funny living room or even a child's room. Posted: 21 Feb 2011 10:12 AM PST This unusual chair called Nest Chair was created by Swedish designer Markus Johansson. As the designer says it's a piece of nature that comes to our homes and breaks up straight, rigid and traditional forms, a place in the home where you can curl up to a period of rest. The designer used both old and new technologies. Each of the thicker round pegs are identical and are cut at different lengths to make it easy to produce. The chair is very environmental friendly as it's made of natural wood, available in several colors. Looks like a real nest, it will be great to nest there and relax a little bit. Apartment With Interior In Neoclassical Style Posted: 21 Feb 2011 05:10 AM PST This beautiful apartment is located in Moscow, Russia. It was made two-storied as the owners wanted. All the apartment is designed in the same colors but each of the rooms is special in its own way. The center of the first floor is hall with the living room, dining room and the home cinema. The bathroom near the bedroom doesn't spoil the harmony of the place as there are no angles or rigid lines. The private zone on the second floor includes a bedroom, a nanny's room in the typical English style and a children's room. This apartment is a wonderful example of neoclassical style.
