An Assertion of Masculinity : Bob Armcahir

Here is an interesting chair design that can be considered an assertion of masculinity from his owner. Meet Bob, a sturdy armchair created by Hella Jongerius for the Spanish company Kettal. With an aluminum frame which contrasts elegantly with the five voluminous ribs, this chair is definitely stylish, but in a manly way. It is clear by its sober gray finish and its overall look that this chair is not for the ladies, as comfortable as it may seem. The “Bob” Collection also includes a feet rest and will be showcased at Hábitat Valencia from 28th September to the 2nd October 2010.
