Posted: 29 Aug 2010 07:25 AM PDT

This project is a renovation of a 200-year old farmhouse with a traditional U-shape in Viena, Austria. The living space is separated from the barn and stable with the courtyard. The south wing is half-buried into the slope and doesn’t feature beautiful views of the surroundings. Although during the renovation an elevated extortion was built. It features a kitchen and living room behind floor-to-ceiling glazing that capture south views. The extension haven’t internal connection to the main house in order to make owners go outside as much as they can. The project was made wit using materials that made it quite cheap, eco-friendly and energy efficient.
