Modular Aluminum Bookshelf System – Alibook by Domodinamica

Alibook is a shelf or “a wing floating on the wall”. The combination of several such shelves allow you to get a vertical row which reminds a flight of birds strengthen one another. Besides you also get a nice and stylish solution to store your books and small decorating pieces. The shelf is made by the folding an aluminum leaf of 3mm thickness that is later laser cut and transformed by twists and turns. The modular bookshelves are designed by Denis Santachiara for Domodinamica. By the way, among other new products by the company are many very creative furniture objects including this kids drawing table.

Modern Decorative Wall Boxes – Cornell Boxes by Tecta

British architect Alison Smithson designed the Cornell Boxes in 1988. She was inspired by Joseph Cornell, the American artist who collected and carefully juxtaposed found objects in simple, usually glass-fronted boxes. Only recently German based furniture manufacturer, Tecta, has started production of these storage boxes. The display boxes have quite unusual and very creative design and come in three variations: a single tabletop version, a single floor standing version or a double floor standing version. Their fronts are open and there are little shelves for storage slotted into them. The boxes sat atop an iron stands. If you’re in search of modern and interesting decorative wall boxes, these are really a nice option for you.

In.it.studios is an UK based company that design customizable garden studios. This garden studio in London is one of their works that shows how passionate the company is about modern and eco-friendly design. It’s prefab in cedar and installed on the site as a guest house nestled amongst the trees.
