| Creative Suspension Lamp Made of Plywood Pieces – Bau Pendant by Normann-Copenhagen Posted: 24 Aug 2010 02:24 PM PDT Bau Pendant is a suspension lamp designed by Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt for Normann-Copenhagen. The sculptural shape of the lamp is achieved by connecting many circular plywood pieces together. All these pieces are colored in different colors and have different sizes. Thanks to that and chaotic connections the lamp is a perfect decoration that could make any room look unusual and creative. It easily can become a centerpiece that will wake up people’s curiosity. There are three different models that will be available in shops by October 2010.

The V8 Hotel in Stuttgart, Germany took this in mind and design all its rooms for such people. Beds and rooms are made out from a real cars. Guests can sleep in all cars including Caddilac, Morris Minor, Mersedes and many others. There are 34 rooms total and some of them features a really wild decor. If you’re still a “grown-up” kid you might get some inspiration from these rooms for yourself or even visit the hotel in Germany.

| White Concrete Three-Storey House – CS House by Pitagoras Arquitectos Posted: 24 Aug 2010 06:33 AM PDT CS House by Pitagoras Arquitectos is a beautiful three-storey modern house located in Portugal. The house is mostly done in white concrete and features several amazing wooden patios near by. It’s organized upside down. The second floor is situated at street level and features the entrance and the garage. The first floor features private spaces while the ground floor is for social spaces. All floors are contemplated with covered or uncovered verandas and patios that are closed off or open to the landscape, creating variable possibilities of inhabiting spaces, taking advantage of the light and scenery that change with the different seasons.
