| Contemporary Easy-Chic Bathroom Sanitaries and Washbasins – Shui by Ceramic Cielo Posted: 19 Aug 2010 12:57 PM PDT Shui is the latest collection of sanitaries, design washbasins, bathrooms furnitures designed by Paolo D’Arrigo for Ceramica Cielo. It was showed on Salone del Mobile 2010 exhibitions and got really positive responses. The collection characterized by a contemporary design and an easy-chic soul. Available in white, black and dark grey, following the most up to date trend of this field. The collection is composed by: three on top washbasins and three suspended washbasins, with rectangular and square shapes by rounded corners, they re-evokes the soft organicity of the sanitary-wares. They are available in three versions: back to wall, suspended or monoblock; plus freestanding washbasins which can be placed in the centre of the room and on pedestal or semi pedestal; two washbasins-consoles with contract taste, characterized by cleaner lines and shapes, nearly masculine. One of them has a super slim 30 cm depth. In the end combined Ely shower trays: in six different sizes with recessed or on top installation.

| Black Bookcase And Room Divider That Reminds Human’s DNA – DNA by Linfa Design Posted: 19 Aug 2010 10:37 AM PDT DNA Bookcase by Linfa Design is one of those furniture pieces that could serve different purposes at once. Besides holding books it could be used as a room divider. The bookcase is made in curved plywood, beech veneered with black finished steel frame. As you might already understood it reminds a human DNA. That gives it a stylish and unusual look so it won’t spoil any contemporary interior. The bookcase is designed by Alessandro Elli.

| Casual And Comfortable Black Beach House – SheOak by Base Architecture Posted: 19 Aug 2010 06:13 AM PDT SheOak House, designed by Base Architecture, is located in Kingscliff, New South Wales, Australia. The black box on a beach-front lot is designed in informal, casual, comfortable and welcoming style. The 350 square meter house is done in mix of steel, timber and concrete. It’s resistant to such weather conditions as wind, salt and sun. The double height entry with grass underfoot and natural landscape consists of a semi indoor/outdoor space constructed of clear weatherboards. The area is designed for the wetsuit to be abandoned into the concealed laundry and for racking the surfboards. The ground level has a quite simple open plan and opened up to a courtyard and a pool. Upstairs consists of simple bedroom and bathroom facilities that interact with the ground level and entry via a series of voids and openings. Overall this house evokes openness and a casual sensation that typifies what a beach house should be.
