| Bed Bug, Cute Asymmetric Bed from Paola Navone Posted: 30 Jun 2010 10:18 AM PDT With a name like “Bed Bug”, any design is likely to get your attention. And when the particular creation is also very interesting looking, than we have a winner. “Bed Bug” belongs to Paola Navone and was designed for Poliform. Its asymmetrical shape is truly unique and also has a functional value. One could store books there, a laptop when it is not needed and a few other things. This is the type of bed which instantly creates the need for a nap, or for some serious cuddling due to its puffy look. It also seems pretty comfortable. Our only suggestion involves its color choice. For a bed this “cuddly”, gray could be replaced by a color that is more friendly. | Octopus Chair, Unusual and Daring Posted: 30 Jun 2010 06:35 AM PDT The Octopus Chair comes from Korean designer Samwoong Lee and brings with it an unusual and daring style. It is called “Octopus” because it has a lot of different shapes, depending on the angle of sight. Here is some information from the project’s creator: “The material called natural mother-of-pearl never has the same color and pattern. In addition, the pattern, the color and the reflexivity of natural mother-of-pearl is changed by the angle. I would like to express the relationship between a man and a man and the one between a man and a thing by using natural mother-of-pearl. The pieces of countless mother-of-pearl surround the whole body with organic shapes creating the Octopus chair.” This is an interesting idea for a modern interior with a futuristic feel, don’t you agree?- via HomeQn

| Cool Swivel Desk Chair, for a Rustic Touch Posted: 30 Jun 2010 03:28 AM PDT We’ve recently come across this beautiful swivel chair which we consider to have a rustic touch mixed with a contemporary addition. Wingate Rattan Swivel Desk Chair comes from Pottery Barn and is particularly charming. Its role is to add a little warmth to a common office. With adjustable hight and a high level of ergonomics, this chair could easily compete against a modern design. The chair comes with assembling and maintenance instructions which are said to be quite easy to follow. A cushion is also available, increasing the amount of comfort.
