Surreal Storage Cabinet – Vault by Dahna Laurens

If you’re searching for something that would become a centerpiece of some of your rooms but also would have some practical functionality then the Vault by Dahna Isaacs and Laurens Manders might be an interesting option for you. It’s designed to treasure your personal richness. There are five small drawers in which you could put photos, letters and other tiny objects. The Vault’s appearance is inspired by the mineral pyrite, also known as fool’s gold. Because of its resemblance to gold pyrite is often mistaken to be highly valuable being actually almost worthless. So it’s really a great place to store your emotional baggage and it could really become a centerpiece of any room.

Even though this interior and storage shelves are designed as a retail space the similar concept could be used to organize books and other small things storage at your home. The space was designed by Architecture At Large's Rafael de Cárdenas to looks like “echo a classic black and white, pre-war NYC bathroom". Imagine a similar space in your home. It would give enough storage space to store your favorite books and become a fabulously unique and stylish part of your interior. Contemporary Loft Design With an Artistic Interior Staircase

This loft is located in one of the first warehouse loft conversions in San Franciso, California done by Garcia Tamjidi. It maximizes natural light provided by an exterior light court and designed as a living gallery space. The architecture capitalizes on the openness and optimizes generous display surfaces. The interior staircase is an artistic focal point and transition from the more public to the more private areas. It’s done in a nice combination of natural wooden stairs and transparent glass side walls. There are a lot of other natural materials around the loft including a truly amazing marble bathroom area. There is also other warm and soft interior design done by Garcia Tamijidi that we already mentioned.
