Why is this modern bookcase called Equilibrium? Because it seems to be collapsing but it isn't. This funny piece of furniture was designed by Alejandro Gomez Stubbs for Malagana Design. The bookcase is made of modules of different sizes finished in natural walnut veneer, you may choose from white, celeste or graphite colors for the inside. Despite of its light construction, it can hold up to 168 pounds, isn't that impressive? The bookcase is so convenient and may be placed anywhere – you needn't endless bookends anymore. Such a piece would look great in any modern space, its design is fresh and funny.

Modern Mini Kitchen With Everything Necessary

Nowadays we don't have much space, especially if you live in a small apartment in some big city. The space-saving solutions are very popular because of that. Mini kitchen is a flawless idea for those living in houses with limited spaces. But in the kitchen you need so many things: an oven, a sink, a fridge, a dishwasher, a table and so on. This project was presented by the Italian design team of Adriano Conti, Corrado Galzio and Alex Innamorati for the final exam of Product Design class at "La Sapienza" University of Rome. The mini kitchen includes a cooking system, an oven, a vegetable washer, a dish-washer, a fridge and, of course, a little pantry too. The cleaning system uses compressed air for cleaning, steam to degrease and UV rays for sterilizing. It's not only functional but stylish, too! I guess these guys managed to realize everybody's dream.

Colorful Penthouse With Modern-Industrial Interior In Brazil

This penthouse is located in São Paulo. The designer is Guillermo Torres that always surprises us with his daring ideas and interiors. This penthouse reflects the bright temperament of Brazil very well. It's a modern interior in light brown and grey but with bright accents – blue, pink and red. The big windows are hidden by the jalousie due to the abundant Brazilian sun. Color is everywhere, especially in the bedroom. There are colorful cushions, furniture and pictures to raise the mood of the owner as soon as he wakes up. There are some art deco and vintage touches that make the space cozier and brighter.
