Stylish Bench – Re-Edition Of Navy Chair Posted: 30 May 2011 12:28 PM PDT The Emeco 1006 chair, also called the Navy chair, is an aluminum chair produced by the Electric Machine and Equipment Company (Emeco) in Hanover, Pennsylvania. The chair was commissioned in the 1940s by the U.S. Navy in World War II for use on warships. The Emeco Navy Bench takes the original designed Emeco Chair and elongates the design to the size of a bench. The Emeco Navy Bench takes the original designed Emeco Chair from the 1940′s and elongates the design to the size of a bench. The polished surface of the bench accentuates the distortion of the design by the reflection that is created on the surface. The bench is made of aluminum with an anodized finish. I love one of the colors especially – tender pink, it gives the piece a special charm. ![]() ![]() Similar Posts: Continue reading about Stylish Bench – Re-Edition Of Navy Chair... |

Modern Renovation Of A Rustic House Posted: 30 May 2011 05:55 AM PDT Some renovations of the old houses are fantastic. Take this house by architect Ana Girod in Segovia, Spain. The owners wanted to maintain the old character of the space and adapt it to their modern lifestyle. That's why the house is rustic and modern at the same time. The use of streamlined furnishings mixed with rustic details creates the right balance between old and new; all the materials are eco-friendly. Rustic beams and other wooden details make the place really cozy; metal and plastic furniture give a refreshing feeling. The house is really harmonious! Would you like to live in such a village house? ![]() ![]() Similar Posts: Continue reading about Modern Renovation Of A Rustic House... |
