| Cute Low Furniture – Combination Of The East And West Posted: 13 May 2011 04:08 PM PDT Jovana Bogdanovic, a young Serbian artist, designed an interesting collection of low chairs called Low Chairs Family. These chairs combine the traditions of the East where people got used to low furniture with the hi-tech of the West. Jovana spent much time in China so this country and its traditions inspired her. The design is easy to integrate in any modern interior. The color scheme is very interesting: the colors that were not expected to be combined, look great together. You may take away the pillows and have just wooden furniture. You may also take a small low coffee table to match the seats, this table can be also decorated with a small pilllow of the matching color. Optic Storage by Cartell is a faceted cube is an exciting object with its transparent or mirrored parts which create a special atmosphere through the images it reflects. An Italian plant called 14 Ora Italiana created a collection of colored floors called Uonuon. This collection is inspired by the works of the famous artist Andy Warhol. That's why the main colors used are exactly the same as in his pictures. 14 Ora Italiana integrated his art into their collection using 14+1 colors. The floors are not only beautiful but also very modern with resistance to extreme temperatures, hit and chemical substances. | Contemporary Low Table With 8 Legs Covered With Epoxy Resin Posted: 13 May 2011 08:50 AM PDT The Flat Table Peeled is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional japanese low table with 8 legs, Hassoku Dai. It’s done by Jo Nagasaka of Schemata Architecture Office. The table has a wooden table top finished with a layer of colored epoxy resin. There are two colors of the resin available: fluorescent pink and yellow. The table top has uneven, rough edges but the resin smooth them off.

Architect Ulf Nelson built it for a family with three daughters. The main color is white, the house is full of light. The style is dynamic as the family is moving forward all the time. The color scheme is rather calm and romantic. There are some antique things in the house that give even more charm to it. I love one of the bedrooms, it's made for one of the girls. The walls and the curtains are with rose ornament. The bedroom looks very tender and sweet. This house is a nice example of modern dynamic style.
