| Sculptural And Snazzy Table Lamp Posted: 02 Feb 2011 04:36 PM PST Chaand lamp is designed by Tahir Mahmood for Caviar20, company that focuses mostly on high-end vintage furniture. The sculptural and snazzy lamp become a contemporary object that in the same time has a mild retro allusion. It is created of sustainable materials. The body is made of Dalbergia Sissoo wood (native to the Indian Subcontinent, often referred to as "Indian Rosewood") and the lacquered sections are made from a sap-based resin and applied with palm leaves. Its linen shade with this wooden body is a perfect combination of natural textures that is capable to make any room more cozy and comfortable. Chaand lamp has already become a part of the Toronto’s Interior Design Show 2011.

| Pure White Coffee Table With Built-In Vases Posted: 02 Feb 2011 12:29 PM PST One coffee table by Bas van der Veer design studio is something really unusual. The pure white small table features several vases that seem to have grown out of the table. They have become one and will have to spend the rest of their lives together. The coffee table is made by covering the small table and the vases with a layer of plastic through thermoforming. The tube in the biggest of the vases makes sure that this product can be used not only as a table, but also as a vase. That isn’t the only one creative product designed by the studio. There is also a very nice rainwater harvester that could be used even indoors.

| Posted: 02 Feb 2011 11:56 AM PST Do you want to have something that could remind you about vacations on a pebble beach at your home? The Pebble Rug from 2Form Design definitely can do that. It looks like it’s made of real pebbles but it’s crafted out of 100% wool instead. This faux stone rug has quite complex structure to provide you with a really authentic nature experience. Although that also can be a problem. Everything that gets between those pebbles is gonna stay there. So we don’t recommend it to use as your main rug in the living room but it’ll be perfect decoration somewhere where you never eat snacks.

| Very Small Apartment With 25,000 Ping Pong Balls On Its Walls Posted: 02 Feb 2011 05:02 AM PST This 90 square foot apartment in Brooklyn is designed by Snarkitecture for Daniel Arsham. This private hideaway is contained within a larger 2,500 square foot collaborative workspace. It’s very minimalist and monochrome yet very unusual. Its wall decorations makes it so unusual. They are covered with 25,000 ping pong balls. Thanks to that they looks like big pixilated screens that fade from gray to white. Because the apartment is part of the company’s office space it features only sleeping, dressing, storage and study areas. The apartment was built in two months for less than $100 a square foot. That’s $50 cheaper than your average loft in this area…
