The door chain which in theory doesn’t allow to open the door for a stranger. Although this stranger could stick his hand into the hole and unfasten the chain. Defendius is a system that can protect the stranger or you from opening the door fast. To open it a person need to carry the chain though a maze. It’s quite boring to do each time but what you won’t do for your own safety, right? Besides you’ll learn how to go through the maze very fast.

It’s inspired by the way people in China dry cloth on poles right out their windows. It’s made of wood but painted in pure white so it could fit contemporary interiors well. The color also helps to show off your books or other things you decide to store there. Available in 3 different sizes the bookcase can easily become an eye-catching element of the room where it’d be installed. Besides it’s available in a standing and a hanging version so it isn’t hard to find space for it.

| Apartment With Minimalist Gray Interior For A Young Woman Posted: 24 Nov 2010 06:01 AM PST This minimalist apartment is designed by an architect, Vitaly Pavlenko, for a young woman living in the capital of Belarus, Minsk. The 130 square meter apartment was optimized for the family of two but with a kids room. Thanks to quite complicated outline of exterior walls rooms are placed in a line on one side of the corridor. The unusual shape of corridor walls and room partitions made it an original feature of the interior. Smooth lines that characterize this space created the illusion of a large and spacious living area. The dominant color is gray. The variety of its shades make all rooms different. For each room an additional color was added. The living room and the kitchen feature red elements, the bedroom and the bathroom – green, the kids room and the small bathroom – orange. The apartment is mostly furnished by the Italian and French furniture.
