Transparent Blue Vase That Can Be Composed Like A Bouquet

Posted: 11 Nov 2010 02:39 PM PST

Those who liked these contemporary indoor ponds but don’t wanna care about living plants and fishes would definitely like the combinatorial Bloomingbless vase. It’s designed by Benjamin Graindorge for Cinna and consists of 3 simple pieces: two hand blown blue glass vases and a bottomless ring surrounding these two vases. That, and transparency of these three pieces, make the Bloomingbless a vase that can be composed like a bouquet. Besides, it allows it to hold bouquets of different sizes. The blue color of the vase makes water inside it almost invisible. You only can see its surface that separates the vase.

We already showed you that a walk-in bathtub is a compact and space saving solution for a bathroom. Gen-X by Treesse is a corner tub with a transparent curved acrylic door on its corner, which opens inwards to avoid taking up much space. The tub’s design was inspired by a marriage of classic and modern styles to please many and fit most bathrooms. The tub’s interior is designed for maximum comfort even though it’s relatively small. Treesse has proved that even space saving solutions could provide a lot of comfort by equipping this tub with hydromassage, blower, color therapy, heater, light, radio, and drain with tub refill.

Simple 21st Century Home Renovation

Posted: 11 Nov 2010 05:45 AM PST

This mid-century modern home renovation in Seattle’s Innis Arden neighborhood is done by BUILD LLC. Even though the original house was quite modest everything was optimized to make it comfortable for a family of 4 without making any additions to the existing footprint. The house’s design incorporate clean lines and a straight-forward design. The interior features an open floor plan and a an extensive cabinet package that harmoniously ties the interiors together and provides a great amount of storage. Strategically located fin walls frame views and provide a sequence of experiences. A very creative roof structure at the front announces the entry and defines the functions of the house. The courtyard is a home to a relocated Japanese maple and, thanks to the fall colors, it is a gorgeous exhibit of color.
