| Minimalist And Philosophical Dining Table Posted: 15 Nov 2011 10:20 AM PST Designer Lucas Martin was inspired by Japanese rock gardens when he created this unusual table. Sweep Table has a top surface which is broken by glass vessels that may be used as containers. Below the top you'll see a real garden – that's the base. The table embodies three different materials – wood, glass and metal – they give it harmony. The table top is created from several planks glued together, pieces of which were cut from a single 12 foot white oak board. The blown glass vessels are cut and polished to be parallel to the table’s surface. Minimalism, Eastern philosophy and art in one! Enjoy! ![]() ![]() Similar Posts: Continue reading about Minimalist And Philosophical Dining Table... |
