| Diverse & Contemporary Reader’s Home in the Czech Republic Posted: 24 Jun 2011 02:33 AM PDT
We recently received an interesting looking modern home from David HoĊava, one of our readers. This project is located in the outskirts of Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic and faces a beautiful natural park. The structure of the residence is as follows: on the first floor there is a living room with kitchen and terrace, a utility room, bathroom and dressing room for the pool. The second level hosts two bedrooms, a study room, a bathroom and a terrace of 100 square meters. We really like the outdoor terraces, as they are extremely spacious and have plenty of socializing potential. Colorful patio furniture cheer up the atmosphere and make it even more inviting. David says the total costs for building this residence were 430 000 Euros. Seems like a fair price? If you have any suggestions concerning the design of the house, be sure to leave a comment below. Also remember we are more than happy to receive photos and information about our readers’ home! Simply get in contact with us and your crib can be featured on Freshome.

| Innovative Bathroom Furniture: Bathtub with Drawers Posted: 24 Jun 2011 01:25 AM PDT
The bathtubs with drawers have a clear advantage in tight spaces. Even when the bathroom is big, the drawers come in handy for bath-related products that you need to keep close while taking a hot, bubbly bath. Incorporating drawers into the overall design of a bathtub was an interesting idea of the Royo Group, a company with 35 years of experience in the manufacture and commercialization of bathroom furniture. The Keops Evolution bathtub series display functional drawers and small shelves that can hold your beauty products near you while you enjoy a relaxing and well-deserved bath. The bathtub finishes are available in white acrylic and walnut and the furniture part can be chosen to be white or black. You can choose from four different sets: Essential, Serenity, Energy and Dynamic. Enjoy the photos and let us know if this would be a bathroom accessory you would consider for your home.

| Romantic Sea House with Lovely Rustic Details Posted: 23 Jun 2011 11:55 PM PDT
Here is a home that is sure to bring out your romantic side. Located not far away from the sea, this residence inspires peace, tranquility and an overall sunny feeling. With a delightful rustic design, both the exterior and the indoor decors give out a warm feel. According to Skeppsholmen, the building is located in Malarhusen, Sweden and has a total living area of 485 square meters. A generous courtyard was arranged by the owners so that many activities could take place outdoors, when the weather allows it. A small pool and cozy patio furniture provide just enough for the inhabitants to have a lovely time. The interiors are truly delightful, with rustic decorative elements enhancing the space and ensuring a unique, unforgettable atmosphere. We decided to present a large number of photos for this home, simply because we like each and everyone of them and we believe so will you. Enjoy!

Looking at the Cell Brick House from the outside makes you wonder how the interiors of this amazing architectural building are shaped. The skin of the house is what makes it so special. It displays a fascinating pattern of holes that rise up from a pebble-covered base. Small steel boxes were placed one on top of the next to shape a rectangular block that shelters the interior living spaces.

Innovative furniture designs have become more and more popular. People want to see creative furniture items adapted to modern times and the Woofer Chair is one of these. The chairs that was inspired by a loudspeaker also has technologic features “that allows for sound waves to vibrate throughout the seat, consenting the user to hear and even to feel the audio spectrum, thanks to sophisticated sound actuators hidden inside the fibreglass structure of the chair.” Designed by Singapore-based integrated spatial-design practice
