Transparent Wood Table Perfect For Modern Dining Areas

The studio Nendo created a 'transparent wood' table. It's made of clear acrylic in a wooden form with a strong grain; the resulting pieces were assembled to make the table. Then the designers reproduced the butt ends faithfully and bevelled the edges like floorboards, and matched the grains ends and dimensions of the wood used for the table legs to the 'transparent wood' to create a unified piece. The two tables have specific and different optical effects: at first glance the black table is wood, but a closer look reveals its transparency, while the clear table is the transparent at first glance, and only later reveals its wooden form. I think it's a very creative piece of furniture that really attracts attention not by its color but by the shape and original design.

Architect Paolo Maldotti created this project NU-OVO for Tisettanta. This is a special space for a person and you can put inside anything you like. A round sofa with a table, a bed, a kitchen with on oven, sink and table, a bathtub or a shower with phytoterapy, a study or a home theater. 'Uovo' means 'egg' in Italian, so this 'egg' is divided into 8 segments, 6 of them are fixed and 2 are mobile. All the pieces are on the metal bases which are fixed on the floor with 8 legs. The structure is made of veneer finished with wax so you can use them inside and outside. You can choose materials, tissues and inner furniture by yourself.

Modern Loft With Glass Walls And Floors

This loft was built by In Situ Architects in Brasov, Romania. Cetuita Loft is n open space with a wonderful view on the mountains and the historical center of the city. On the first floor there is a kitchen, a dining room and some other rooms, office and a hall. On the second floor there is a living room with a fireplace, a bedroom and a storage. The stairs are all made of wood and the rails are made of glass. The interior design is modern, minimalist with lots of light. Thanks to the glass rails, big windows and partly glass floor the house looks airy. Various bright colors like chocolate brown, green or lilac make the house look lively and inviting. The lights in the bathroom can be changed according to your mood.
