Surf Hammock To Enjoy The Nature

Posted: 09 Jun 2011 12:25 PM PDT

Company Royal Botania presents gorgeous collections of outdoor furniture. Now they present Surf, an unusual outdoor sofa or seat that is very comfortable. The authors say it's like hovering halfway between heaven and earth. Surf is a very comfortable hammock that is hung on the metal base. There is kind of a roof above not to be burnt by the sun. This hammock is big enough for even two persons; it's available only in white but it's a universal color that fits almost anything. It's a fantastic seat to put it somewhere near water and enjoy the view and fresh air without being sunburnt.

Transparent Mantle Clocks Made From Metal Wire

Posted: 09 Jun 2011 09:21 AM PDT

Dutch designer Kiki van Eijk has created this series of 14 mantle clocks, each made from a different metal wire or finish. Called One More Time, the clocks comprise a ceramic face and metal wires twisted into the frame of a clock case. Each clock has exactly the same shape, but a totally different appearance because of its finish. The clocks tell us a story about time: it always changes and looks different but its essence is always the same. The objects exist between fiction and reality, they are ultra transparent and seem to float in space by almost getting absorbed by its surroundings. It's not only a clock but also a surrealistic transparent sculpture for your interior.

Pretty 114-Years-Old Victorian House

Posted: 09 Jun 2011 06:22 AM PDT

This stunning Queen Anne Victorian was built in 1897 in Osceola, Iowa, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's known as "The Banta House" and was designed by the popular Victorian-era architect George Barber. The house, which features 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, 3 fireplaces, and 3 porches, is on the market for only $300,000. It has been restored, but it's still waiting for some new design decisions. It has only had two owners since it was built, which is pretty amazing for a house of its age – 114 years. The listing says the house has 2,423 square feet and that is a really amazing space to change. It looks larger than that from the outside. The house has its own charm of Victorian era, indeed. The colors used, the furniture and architecture itself take us to that epoch, everything in the house looks cozy and inviting. Isn't it wonderful?
