| Re-Edition Of Fantastic Chair Collection Of The 50s Posted: 19 May 2011 09:12 AM PDT Ernest Race is a famous British furniture designer who achieved international acclaim during the 1950′s with his unique, forward thinking furniture designs. UK-based manufacturer Race Furniture launched a re-edition of several his iconic designs as part of the '100% Design' exhibition. The original furniture was made in natural colors and natural wood. Now Races's mid-century modernist designs were presented in new pastel shades of pink, yellow, light blue and pistachio green. Race’s ‘BA3′ chair was the first mass-produced dining chair ever made with aluminum frame, originally made from material recycled from WW2 aircraft parts. Now it's not made of aircraft parts but looks great, nevertheless. You will also see the re-editions of Heron, BA2, Antelope and Antelope Rocker in the collection. | Villa With A Horse In The Living Room Posted: 19 May 2011 05:44 AM PDT This villa is located not far from Göteborg. It was built for a family with two children. The house is on the hill on the sea shore so the architects needed to take this thing into consideration. The interior is light, modern and colorful. The inner light was maximized with the help of big windows and white color inside. I love the sideboard in the dressing room! It's colorful ad gives life and fun. In the living room you can see an interesting fireplace that looks like an old stove though it's made of concrete. There is a horse in the dining room. It's a plastic horse from Mooi with a lamp on the head – a very interesting detail that definitely attracts attention.
