Optical Illusion Chair With Only One Whole Leg

Posted: 10 May 2011 12:33 PM PDT

Optical illusions are great and you always think: how did they do it? There are invisible chairs that you can see only at one angle and now there is a chair with broken legs. Look, three of its legs are broken and their parts are missing! But how can we sit or stand on them? Though only one of its legs remains whole and in contact with the ground, Cut Chair by a designer from Seattle Peter Bristol is nevertheless perfectly firm and stable. Bristol pulls back the curtain (in this case, a thick shag rug) to reveal that it conceals a bulky metal plate topped with equally hefty supports. The weight of the plate, coupled with the hidden metal tube that attaches to the Chair's leg, gives the truth to the illusion, the material reality to Bristol's clever inversion of our expectations. Here they are – modern illusionists and their creations! Aren't they fantastic?

Minimalist Crystal Chandelier In Neomodern Style

Posted: 10 May 2011 09:01 AM PDT

Thomas Feichter is a designer from Brazil who got an education in Austria and Germany. Maybe because of that he absorbed the minimalism that is characteristic of Germany. His clear style and minimalism is reflected very well in his unique interpretation of the classic crystal chandelier, One Crystal Chandelier with a LED light shining from below. You can choose the number of the crystals by yourself and hang as many as you like. If you ask me, I think that it's sort of art, a neomodern interpretation of the classic. It's definitely worth buying as it would look great in any modern, traditional or romantic interior. Its unique design makes it almost universal.

Beautiful Contemporary House With Rustic Exterior

Posted: 10 May 2011 05:32 AM PDT

This beautiful house is located in the capital of Poland, Warsaw, and was created by Damian Cyryl Kotwicki in the best traditions of modern architecture and design. The exterior is rustic but inside it's very contemporary. The first floor includes a kitchen, a hall, a living room, a dining room and a garage for two cars. The second floor is taken for private zones – owners' bedrooms and guests' rooms and bathrooms. The interior is rather bright, with funny colorful furniture and accessories, the wooden stairs is very beautiful and I like the glass rail. Such a house makes the spirits rise and move forward to the future thanks to the dynamics and bright colors.
