Inclined back and paws – isn't that original? This unusual piece is available in several colors – black, dark grey and other. Politically Important Bench

Posted: 04 May 2011 09:35 AM PDT

Young German designer Tino Seubert offered the furniture concept called ‘Forming History’ based on significant moments in time. He chose several things for the collection, for example, Liu Xiaobo’s empty chair at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo. The events of the past register as abstract shadows, deformations or traces on the newly designed object. The furniture has a way of capturing a moment and indeed steadies it in time. The first subject in the collection is called Nuremberg Trials. It's a creative bench made of natural wood. This bench is a reflection of some politically important events. Such a simple but significant bench would decorate any garden or public place.

Beautiful Farm House In The 18th Century Style

Posted: 04 May 2011 06:35 AM PDT

Designer Penelope Bianchi has presented her Provençal farmhouse in Santa Barbara. The house was built just 15 years ago but the design made it look like it's been around for generations. Bianchi is fond of the design of the 18th century so she decided to do her best with the house. The interiors are authentic and the designer even managed to put a statue in the living room so that it looks harmoniously. The lights are stylized for street lamps and candles. The colors and rags also remind of the 18th century. All the furniture supports the style and there is a zinc-lined copper tub dating from the 1860s in the bathroom. Even outside the style is held ideally: the vines are climbing all over the house and inside the loggia.
