| Modern Sculptural Plastic Chairs – Miss Less by Philippe Starck Posted: 30 Apr 2011 12:19 PM PDT Miss Less is the latest work of Philippe Starck in collaboration with Eugeni Quitllet for Kartell. It was presented at Salone del Mobile 2011. Miss Less is a sculptured chair made of contemporary shiny plastic molding. Its base is a monolithic square while the back looks very thin. The base is available in various solid colors while the back can be as in the same color as in some contacting color as transparent. Such chairs would be a great addition to any contemporary interiors. The chair is still a prototype but should be available worldwide very soon.

| Stylish Pipe Lamps Made of Flax And Rubber Posted: 30 Apr 2011 09:12 AM PDT This original lamp is called Pipe and was presented by Diesel at the Fuorisalone 2011. The designers were inspired by usual pipes. But these pipes were softened by different materials: flax or rubber. The ornaments are made with the help of rubber stamp. You can choose several sizes and several colors – black, white. You can buy a table lamp, a floor lamp or a wall version. Such a lamp would look great in any minimalist or other modern interior thanks to its design and minimalist colors. Diesel managed to present a simple but interesting model that will definitely attract attention. ![]() ![]() Similar Posts: Continue reading about Stylish Pipe Lamps Made of Flax And Rubber... | ||||||||||||
| Futuristic Apartment In Space Ship Style Posted: 30 Apr 2011 05:11 AM PDT Designers Mikhail and Elena Miroshkin from Geometrix Design created this futuristic apartment in Moscow. The project is called Fantastic Island. Through the entrance door we get into a spacious living room where the kitchen is separated from all the other rooms by a glass baffle. Such a solution makes the space look airy and light. The home cinema looks really fantastic! It's a big black glass panel with a circle of LEDs. I like the strict geometric forms everywhere and a spirit of futurism. Clear lines of the furniture and accessories – there is nothing unnecessary. The color scheme is minimalist: white, black, dark grey and natural wood. In some way this apartment reminds of a space ship, doesn't it? ![]() ![]() Similar Posts: Continue reading about Futuristic Apartment In Space Ship Style... |
