Charming Wish & Goal List Clipboards Posted: 04 Dec 2010 03:18 AM PST One thing a lot of very successful self improvement writers – Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar and so on – go on and on about is the importance of having written goals. A written goal brings clarity and focus. It gives you a direction. And by rewriting your goals you not only reaffirm what your goals are.You may also find new insights that bring more clarity and focus to your goal and life. A written goal is also a powerful reminder that you can use to keep yourself on the right track when you feel stressed and may consider making hasty decisions. You can now have your wishes or goals closer to you with this original clipboard from Etsy artist Maiko Kuzunishi/Decoylab. The clipboard comes with a notepad where you can jot down your wishes or goals and keep them visible. Each clipboard comes with a notepad and customized pencil that says either, "Make my wishes come true.", or "I will achieve my goals.". Looks like they're momentarily sold out, but I'm sure there will be more soon. Ready for more amazing design ideas? Check below !

How to Jazz up your Interiors with Stripes Posted: 03 Dec 2010 12:56 PM PST If you are trying to make the interiors of your home have more jazz and excitement, adding stripes is the way to go. The electric beam levels work the best and you can tape off the line as the beam guides you! Wallpaper and faux finishes can also achieve stripes or similar affects to stripes. See how creative you can be, stripes will showcase your space in a whole new light! Freshome reader's do you have stripes in your home interiors? Tell us how you chose them. Romantic and Comfortable Rocking Chair by Markus Krauss Posted: 03 Dec 2010 09:36 AM PST Markus Krauss designed a comfortable, versatile and spacious armchair that also acts like a rocking chair. Named Sway, the contemporary rocking chair is large enough to be used by two people at the same time – a romantic feature for those who love to rock back and forth. A steel structure sustains the padded seating surface, making the chair a modern insertion in any decor. The telescope mechanism locates the rocking chair in an easy chair position, leaving it up to you whether you want the chair to move or not. Sway can successfully replace sofas or armchairs, acting like a perfect addition to your home in case you have a child. Just hop on and sway away. Reading, watching TV or even napping will have you leave the chair with a feeling of guilt. Kids also have a lot of fun rocking and the clean lines of the design allow it to merge with the existing environment.

Diverse and Unusual Contemporray Family Crib: Bondi House Posted: 03 Dec 2010 08:41 AM PST Bondi House is an intriguing residence with a highly original architecture approach, recently “upgraded” by MCK Architects. Especially redesigned for a family with children, the building is currently a fun and unusual contemporary family crib, after suffering a series of reorganization processes. Here are some words from the architects: “The bulk of the new work is to the rear and south of the site. It consists of a new triple height space that connects all levels and reaches up and over the roof of the existing building to capture northern sunlight and northeasterly breeze. A sloping singular roof form allows this sunlight to travel down to the new lower level living space and rear courtyard. The angle of the roof is 30 degrees allowing maximum sun in winter to penetrate into the rear yard. This decision also minimized any detrimental overshadowing to rear adjacent neighbors; it in fact increased their access to sunlight.” The central staircase is not only of great aesthetic effect, but is also very practical, connecting the living space below with the bedrooms on the first floor.
