Creative Wood Table And Floor Lamps Posted: 14 Dec 2010 10:43 AM PST Woodtable and Woodfloor are two matching lamps designed by Fernando and Humberto Campana. They both have similar features and share similar design but are different in size. They are made of solid teak over stainless steel structures. Lampshades can be adjusted in 2 positions. All wiring is hidden by a PMMA tube, making it suitable for outdoor use also. These creative lamps definitely have scenic approach. They give off an interesting type of light, with geometric beams projected on to the floor, wall and ceiling, giving ‘the impression of a forest,’ something like sun peaking through trees.

Modern And Very Stylish Edwardian Terrace House Extension Posted: 14 Dec 2010 05:42 AM PST This stylish modern extension of Edwardian terrace house in London is done by Paul McAneary Architects. The idea of the extension is to perceive the garden as a continuation of the domestic space rather than ‘the outdoor’. The final extension features only clean and clear lines that are so common in modern architecture. Although the whole design has a 30° twist that allows physical and perceptive overlapping between the indoor and the outdoor spaces. This conceptual idea is manifest in the details of the faceted zinc facade and the floating external deck, being cut back to a fine angled edge. The garden becomes a vital ingredient of the living The extension features a kitchen, WC and a lounge area. Besides there is a storage wall that is capable to fit a lot of things. Appliances are hidden as much as possible to help the space remain as calm and uncluttered as possible. Part of the extension’s roof is done in glass. That allows light floods into the house. Light colored floor and ceiling bounce the light so the extension is always bright during the day.
